The Bennett Mission

To finish out our Sunday June 6, 2010 a group of five couples met in the meeting room and the men (including Dad, believe it or not) played games, and the women put a puzzle together 550 piece and finished it. It took us until 10:30 pm.

June 8, 2010 Tue – A Trip to the National Museum of Anthropology. We went with the Becks. It was like a trip through the country of Mexico. Each region had its own culture and the museum had a section on each. The facial expressions on the small statues was interesting how it changed from place to place. The museum was very well done and educational. It took all day. Some areas of the museum were very hot so we hurried through those areas.

June 9, 2010 – Bryce had a temple assignment for 4 hours. He checked the recommends of the people coming to work in the temple. He enjoyed a chance to speak Spanish to some of the workers.

Initiation – we are now officially welcomed into the Mexican culture. Montezuma’s curse hit. It hit Dad Friday night. I had a stomach ache all of Sat. Sunday Dad was recovering.
