June 4, 2010 Our 48th Anniversary Celebration. Everyone has been more than kind and helpful to us since we arrived. In a small way we made an effort of repayment. Last night we invited ten senior couples for ice cream and cookies, seven couples came. The meeting room has comfortable folding chairs and tables so we set them up outside in the shade where there was a slight breeze. We enjoyed telling our wedding stories. Everyone stayed til past dark. It was a lot of fun for us and everyone seemed happy to be here.
