May 16th. Sunday - Church was amazing. It had a good spirit and a good sized congregation. In Relief Society there is an English speaking segment for translating and there is the Spanish speaking segment without translating. Someone translates for you if you want it.
Our neighbor came over and helped us get internet, he just plugged the cable cord in so here we are online so easy and quick. We were invited to Elder & Sister Wright’s for lunch. They are great people. Family Home Evening and a potluck supper were held in the evening. It is under the direction of a member of the temple presidency. Elder Shurtz is the former Detroit temple president. We share the same patio. On the other side of us are the Allens. Elder Allen is the former Atlanta temple president. We are in a very secure area with a laundry facility and large room for group activities. It is all very clean. When you leave the secure living unit to go to the temple there is a small street to cross that is more like an alley but room for two cars.

Our mission is a miracle. Miracle that we are here. The Lord wants us to succeed. He wants all of His children to be happy. He sent His Only Begotten Son to earth to cleanse us from our sins. No unclean thing can enter his presence. We are here to prove ourselves and to return to him. We have a responsibility to become like Jesus, to keep his commandments and to make and keep sacred covenants. It's not a very long list. We pray for each member of our family. We love each one.
