Welcome

Our mission is a miracle. Miracle that we are here. The Lord wants us to succeed. He wants all of His children to be happy. He sent His Only Begotten Son to earth to cleanse us from our sins. No unclean thing can enter his presence. We are here to prove ourselves and to return to him. We have a responsibility to become like Jesus, to keep his commandments and to make and keep sacred covenants. It's not a very long list. We pray for each member of our family. We love each one.

Las Mansanitas, Cuernavaca, Morales, Mexico

Aug 2, 2010 Cuernavaca, Morales, Mexico. A group of missionaries, Monte, Gomez, Johnson, Beck, Cardon, Bennett, Nelson (missionaries from the Monterrey Mexico temple that is closed for cleaning) spent the day at Cuernavaca. The historical sites are closed on Monday (darn) so we shopped and spent several hours having lunch at the Mansanitas Restaurant. It is a former ambassador residence and covers several acres of land. We relaxed on reclining wicker chairs in the shade of large beautiful trees alongside cages of exotic birds while we had drinks and chips. We ordered our dinner while we relaxed. We toured the grounds and the spa then ate a delicious meal outdoors. The weather was gorgeous and the company awesome. Dad had chicken cordon bleu and I had grilled salmon. Our desert was on easy chairs on a different patio. Elder Gomez ordered Dad birthday cake that the waiter brought and sang happy birthday. We returned home about 7 pm.
